Sumac Roasted Chicken

This Sumac Roasted Chicken is a high protein meal that is easy to make and full of flavour. Be sure to pair it with a side of rice, quinoa or roasted potatoes as well as a green salad for some freshness and to create that perfectly balanced meal.

Sumac Roasted Chicken

Cooking Time : 20 – 25 MINUTES

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast – 2 Fillets
  • Easy Sumac Marinade (*)
  • Method

    – Prepare the Easy Sumac Marinade (recipe available in the Pantry)

    – Marinate your chicken for a minimum of 30 minutes (or several hours, if you have the time).

    – Preheat oven to 220°C.

    – Bring to room temperature before cooking, then transfer to a small baking dish along with the marinade.

    – Note: if your oven dish is too big, then avoid adding the marinade juices as it will spread out and burn.

    – Cook in the oven for 20 – 25 minutes.

    – Once removed from the oven, cover partially with tinfoil and leave to rest for 10 – 15 minutes.

    – Sprinkle with more sumac and serve with bread and raw onions.
