With so many choices on the market, it can be tough to know which ones are actually worth having. To be honest, you probably don’t need half of what’s out there, and for the most part, I believe that simplicity is always best.
Nonetheless, it doesn’t hurt to splurge a little. And should the mood ever strike, here are a few things that are worth the price tag and will make cooking and hosting more enjoyable:
- A high-powered blender; if the Vitamix is too steep, a Nutribullet is also great.
- A standing mixer; KitchenAid, Kenwood, SMEG… etc. They pretty much all come with a hefty price tag, but definitely worth the investment.
- A Chef’s knife
- A stove to oven pan; good to invest in at least one, the best being a cast iron skillet, Dutch oven, or a stainless steel. They’re also great for serving!
- A coffee maker; for the avid coffee lover.
As an add-on, it’s also nice to invest in some timeless plates and serving platters, as they will make hosting that much more fun!
