Healthy Breakfast Granola

Though intended for Breakfast, this Healthy Granola meal can actually be had any time of day. It is packed full of goodness; between the oats, chia seeds, honey and fresh fruits, topped over a bowl of Greek yogurt, this meal is both delicious and healthy.

Ingredients

  • Plain Yogurt – 4 Cups, preferably Greek Yogurt
  • Chia Seeds – 1/3 Cup
  • Granola – 1 Cup, any granola of choice (store bought or homemade)
  • Dates – 1/2 Cup, pitted and roughly chopped
  • Blueberries – 1/2 Cup
  • Strawberries – 1/4 Cup, halved or sliced
  • Honey – for serving, or substitute with maple syrup (both optonal)
  • Method

    – Mix the chia seeds and yogurt in a large bowl.

    – Divide the yogurt evenly between 4 serving bowls (approximately 1 cup of yogurt in each bowl).

    – Top each with a small handful of the granola and dates.

    – Top each with the blueberries and strawberries (or any fruit of choice).

    – Keep in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, and drizzle with some honey or pure maple syrup before serving.
