Bone-In Turkey Breast

Who says you have to wait for Thanksgiving or Christmas to enjoy a turkey? If you’re looking to up your protein intake, this bone-in turkey breast is yet another very healthy and effective choice, and will satisfy a crowd!

Bone-In Turkey Breast

Serves : 4 – 6
Prep Time : 5 – 10 MINUTES
Cooking Time : 1 HOUR 30 MINUTES

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil – 1/4 – 1/2 Cup, or substitute with preferred choice of oil or butter
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black Pepper – to taste
  • Bone-In Turkey Breast – 2-2.5 kg
  • Method

    – Pre-heat oven to 170-180°C.

    – Pat dry turkey breast with paper towels on all sides. Rub the oil all over the turkey using your hands, then season generously with salt and pepper.

    – Place a rack into a baking dish and place the turkey breast on top.

    – Cook in the oven for approximately 1 hour 2 minutes.

    – Allow turkey to rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.

    – Serve warm with gravy and all the trimmings.
