Banana Orange Pancakes

Baking pancakes is another easy way to get your kids into the kitchen and makes for a great weekend morning bonding activity! Enjoy these pancakes with a side of your favourite fresh fruits, pure organic maple syrup or honey and a cold glass of milk for a little added protein.
Sweet Potato Muffins

Serves : 4 – 6
Prep Time : 15 MINUTES
Cooking Time : 10 – 15 MINUTES

Ingredients

  • All Purpose Flour – 2 Cups
  • Banana – 1 pc, Large, ripe
  • Orange – 1 pc, Medium, juiced
  • Milk – 1 3/4 Cup
  • Baking Powder – 3 tsp
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
  • Egg – 1 pc
  • Method

    – Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.

    – Melt the butter in a large pan. Scoop the pancake batter recipe into the frying pan with a large ladle to make individual pancakes. The pan will probably only take 1 or 2 pancakes at a time, depending on how large you make them.

    – Cook on one side until the top begins to bubble, then flip the pancake over and cook on the other side.

    – Serve warm with maple syrup and cream.

    – Or cut into quarters and pack as a school snack.
