Avocado Sandwich

Definitely a favourite with both kids and adults! This Avocado Sandwich is so full of texture, nutrients and flavours, you just can’t go wrong. And let’s not forget that tangy apple slice that is nothing short of a pleasant surprise.  

Avocado Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Avocado – 1, ripened, sliced
  • Green Apple – 1, thinly sliced
  • Sliced Bread – 2
  • Fresh Basil – 1/4 Cup, chopped
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
  • Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp
  • Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Method

    – Assemble the avocado slices on one slice.

    – Drizzle with the lemon juice, olive oil and pepper.

    – Top with the basil leaves and sliced apple, then cover with the other sliced bread.

    – Cut in half and enjoy!
